Systems Analyst Operations Position Available in Miami, Florida
This position is responsible for working in a cross-functional environment and partnering with internal users to provide day to day support, define business and technical requirements, develop recommendations, and implement, sustain and refine support systems for the Operations business units. Support and partner with Manufacturing & Supply Chain departments on their system needs and requirements. Participate in all phases of systems development lifecycle - from project scoping, planning, and requirements definition to issues resolution, testing and implementation. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer systems. Participate in user interviews and analysis of Operations Department workflows to identify automation opportunities. Work with process owners to develop the System Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Project Requirement Specifications (PRS) that meet Operations management and business needs. Translate business requirements to detailed functional specifications. Work closely with IM Compliance, System/Process Owners and QA to develop validation requirements that are practical and follow industry and regulatory guidance. Work with project leaders to develop project plans that reflect business analysis approach, deliverables and estimates. Participate in system rollouts. Manage and prioritize changes to existing systems based on enhancements in efficiency and compliance. Participate in multiple projects simultaneously. Prioritize projects and tasks in order to achieve department and company objectives. Ensure adequate communication is maintained regarding project status and priorities.
Education / Skills Required:
BS in MIS, CS or other related discipline (MS/MBA preferred) with 5+ years project management experience.

Specifics:
• Assist Senior Technology Development lab members with initial lab setup and implementation of procedures and systems supporting lab operations

• Work closely with research team to apply scientific understanding about the vaccine product and viruses to troubleshoot manufacturing problems associated with marketed products
• Performs other Technology Development or administrative duties as assigned.
• Presents progress to colleagues at internal department and project sub-team meetings.
Minimum requirements:
EXPERIENCE: 1. Demonstrated experience in process development and technology transfer of biotechnology (cell based) derived vaccines or biopharmaceuticals is required 2. Some knowledge and work experience in one of the technology areas, cell-culture, analytics, purification or formulation/fill-finish is required 3. Demonstrated laboratory skills in one of technology areas including associated analytical methods is desirable
• Position is located in Cambridge, MA
• The qualified candidate must be able to effectively partner with a diverse team members from various functions, multiple countries and members at various levels in organization.
• Must be a self-starter, be able to work with minimal supervision in a matrix environment and effectively manage multiple projects.
• Some experience in application of Design of Experiments and other statistical techniques is a strong plus.
