What’s your Personality Type?

Have you ever checked in to YOU? You might be surprised at what you will find. Gaining a better understanding of yourself can help in so many ways - for example are you introverted yet working in midst of continual people interaction and finding yourself just exhausted? Or, are you extroverted and working in a quiet profession in a cubicle all the time and likewise, feeling exhausted too?
Until I got a read on my personality type I didn’t really understand how important it was to my professional world. I’m an ENFP and in the Myers-Briggs world that means my personality traits are - Extroverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceptive - and although there’s a lot to that scientifically that I don’t profess to know, what I do know is that I love working, interacting and being with people. It gives me energy - I literally emerge when I’m with people. If I was in a profession where I sat quietly all day with very little people interaction I’m sure I would become one depressed puppy. In fact I know I would.
As and ENFP, I’ve got loads of energy and really like to think ‘out loud’ - sharing ideas and brainstorming are top of the chart for me. I’m extremely creative and like to focus on the big-picture, vs. the teeny tiny details. Imagine how helpful knowing all of this is when it comes to choosing a profession!
Enough about me…what about you?? Take the test and let me know your type.

A lot of companies are getting into pre-employment tests that are issued through a PEO. One of the tests that can be done is a personality assessment so the employers can know how a candidate reacts to certain situations. It would be interesting to know if Myers-Briggs was the test that they use, or a similar one, and if it is as effective.
