Job Seekers - New Tool

Just when you think that everyone has thought of everything someone thinks of something NEW!  I love that - for a girl who is an ‘idea queen’ it makes my day to find something new out there, especially in the world of job search.

Here’s one I found today: WorkYourCareer - a job search tool built around the premise of assisting candidates to “mine” their way into a company via an employee who has posted a position that is open.  It allows the job seeker to submit their resume directly to and individual within the company - vs. trying to get in via HR (unless that is where the opening is) or an outside recuriter.  There is a small fee involved (I believe it is .99 cents for your resume to go to an employee with internal referral clout).

Check it out and see if it is something that might work for you - if you’ve been on the “hunt” for a while finding a new tool may be just the ticket to get you on top.
